Janko joins Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund at the Damon Dash Gallery 2011

Janko Radosavljevic, Eddie Clendening (Million Dollar Quartet) and Inventive Events joined Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund at the Damon Dash Gallery, Tribeca in an effort to raise funds to help end childhood cancer. In attendance were over 350 people from film, fashion, music and advertising industries including cast members from NBC's "30 Rock", AMC's "Rubicon" and Bravo's "The Real Housewives of NYC".

Janko produces, co-writes and plays guitar on Vesuveo's 2011 album "Shine"

Janko Radosavljevic produced, co-wrote and played guitar on 3 songs featured on Vesuveo's album Shine. Vesuveo first broke on the scene in the mid 90's with Moonshine and The Anonymous, the critically acclaimed underground hip hop groups he founded. Since then, he's worked with Eminem, Mystic, Cut Chemist, Medusa and Dilated Peoples. His top 10 hit "Green and Gold" by The Anonymous featuring Eminem, Vesuveo & Able remains an underground classic. Released by Supatunes in 2011, Vesuveo's album Shine features production by Vesuveo, Zinndeadly, Withope, Janko Radosavljevic, Stupid Genius and Production by 1000. Chuck D of Public Enemy said, "It's a great record. Shine shines."

Janko Radosavljevic, Fat Joe, Tony Sunshine and Opera Steve have performed at Jimmy's Bronx Cafe, New Years Eve 2001, in honor of Big Pun's death. Today is 10 year anniversary. RIP Big Pun.

Janko's music featured in MTV's "True Life"

Janko Radosavljevic co-wrote the song "SIQ" in 2003. The song was featured in MTV's True Life 2010 episode "I'm Looking For My Child." True Life is a documentary series running on MTV since 1998.

2010 Camillo/Vibe/Republic releases single "Kristen's Blues" by Kristen Capolino, co-written by Janko

Janko Radosavljevic co-wrote the song "Kristen's Blues" when Kristen was 14 years old. It was released by Camillo Entertainment in 2006 on Kristen's first album "All That I Am." Kristen was born in Romania and came to US when she was 2. Janko met Kristen when she was 11 and worked with her until she was 16 years old.

Janko attends 2010 Nublu Jazz Festival

Janko Radosavljevic attended second annual Nublu Jazz Festival with friend Ilhan Ersahin, music guru and founder/owner of Nublu. The festival featured great performances by Alphabet Soup, Lew Soloff, Bato The Yugo with Paul Motian and Matt Pavolka, Nublu Orchestra conducted by Butch Morris, Didi Gutman, Sun Ra Arkestra, Ilhan Ersahin with Love Trio and Silver (Eddie Henderson, Juini Booth, Kenny Wollesen), The Last Army Collective, etc.

Janko performs live with Alex Berne for Swim Across The Continents 2010

Janko Radosavljevic and Alex Berne performed the song "One Voice" by Alex Berne in Gantry Park in honor of Marcos Diaz's project "Swim Across The Continets". Marcos' swimming marathon ended in New York, with a final crossing from Statue of Liberty to Gantry Park where he met the UN Security-General Ban Ki-Moon and presented him with a book with over 200,000 messages of support collected from citizens around the world. When Marcos reached the crowd, he pulled out a sign that read "We can end poverty", raised it above his head for all to see.

Alex Berne, Janko Radosavljevic and Kyle Paas have finished recording the song "One Voice" at Kyle Paas Studios. This song is inspired and dedicated to Marcos Diaz and his foundation "Swim Across The Continets". In partnership with United Nations, "Swim Across The Continets" goal is to bring global attention to the Millennium Development Goals and invite people to act and demand that our leaders keep their promises by 2015.

Janko Radosavljevic attended NIKE Brazil event in New York City 2010 with friends Lucas Penido, Marcelo D2 and wife.
Lucas is the editor in chief of "The Hype BR," which is Brazil's leading lifestyle site with a strong focus on streetfashion, sneakers, art, music & everything in between. Marcelo D2 is a Brazilian rapper and a former vocalist of the band Planet Hemp.

Janko sings on 2010 French album "Peter Punk" by DISIZ

Janko Radosavljevic sang chant vocals on two songs from the album "Peter Punk" by French rapper Disiz. Album is produced by Diesel and it was recorded at Kings Land Studios, Brooklyn, New York. Sérigne M'Baye Gueye, (born March 28, 1978), better known by his stage name Disiz, (pronounced Dissis), is a French rapper and actor. Born to a Senegalese father and Belgian mother, he grew up listening to rap. He was a great fan of the French rap groups NTM and IAM. He was discovered by JoeyStarr, one of the members of the famous rap group NTM after listening to a sample tape named "Bête de bombe".

A HARLEM MOTHER

In 1998, 18 year old LaTraun Parker made a documentary about the difficulties of growing up in Harlem. Eight years later he was shot dead on the street. Today his mother Jean Corbett-Parker fights youth gun violence and helps other parents survive the pain through het organization, Harlem Mothers. Weaving footage from LaTraun's own film with scenes from Jean's new life today, "A Harlem Mother" is a short documentary that tells this tragic and inspirational story from the dual perspectives of mother and son.
